I don't cruise as far as I used to, but my imagination takes me to places and adventures far and wide, and the view from our deck (home windows if weather is bad) of Birch Bay is a story in itself. I hope you will come along with me and hear my narrations during my smooth sailings, stormy seas, and all.
See you there friends,
Nancy
Hello, I'm new at this blogging stuff and have just figured out how to comment on your interesting blog. Husband Ron and I are as far from your home port as we could be (unless we were in Alaska or Hawaii), we retired in WA. state from New Mexico where we lived and worked for over 20 years, California before that. I will join you in the 65 club this year, Ron joined last year. We too are lucky enough to enjoy beaches, but our beaches are quite chilly except in mid-summer. When we do walk the beach it means that Ron is rolling (MS has him moving around in his wheelchair, and I'm walking (a little slower than years past).
Hope you are able to take a moment to glance at my blog (I'm posting some short stories) and events of the day.
I'll look forward to watching and learning about your Florida years.
Isn't this fun? I live on the southern Oregon coast, sixty miles from California, not so far at all. You're a fiction writer and an artist? I'm sure we'll get along just great. Nice to meet you.
Hi Rosaria, Good to meet you too. Ron was raised in Ashland, love your part of the Oregon coast, been there many times. Look forward to reading your blog, have some great Ore. coast photos, favorite Christmas day six years ago, an old, bearded man walking his burro in full pack on a Newport, Oregon beach.
